Learn All the Time Network 2026-27 Momentum Mini-Grant Application

Learn All the Time Network 2026-2027 Momentum Mini-Grant Application

Purpose: To provide funding that enhances the quality of out of school time (OST) programs in alignment with the Learn All The Time Quality Practices.
Access the Quality Practices here: https://bit.ly/46No7tN

Please note – this is not a grant opportunity to support general operating expenses or one-time events, but rather should strengthen longer-term capacity-building efforts or advance a transformational project (within reason based on the size of the budget) with a specific emphasis on enhancing quality program practices and/or quality management practices.

Example projects include:
  • Refining or further developing program logic model/theory of change and developing clear connections between program activities and intended outcomes
  • Reviewing and refining curricula with a quality lens – are the activities designed to support quality programming?
  • Reviewing or retooling staff training and ongoing professional development to support program goals
  • Engaging Youth-  Building authentic leadership opportunities for youth and developing strategies to focus on intentional engagement in the program
  • Developing or refining continuous quality improvement systems
  •  Selecting and deploying a quality observation and assessment tool

*Projects may be collaborative and benefit more than one organization, but a lead organization must be listed in the application.

Minimum and Maximum Awards: Programs may apply for any amount up to $5000.

Grant Period: Funds are to be used to support 2026-27 programming and/or organizational related needs that will impact program quality. All funds must be expended by August 31, 2027.

Eligibility: Only current Learn All the Time Network provider partners who have completed the updated membership application (from September 2026) are eligible to apply.  Any type of entity is eligible to apply (e.g., nonprofit, for-profit, governmental). Priority will be given to those partners who did not receive grant funding during the last 2 funding cycles.

Grant Award Requirements: In lieu of a traditional report, grantees agree to participate as a contributor in a one-hour facilitated panel that will be open to all LATT Network partners. During the panel conversation, a representative from the organization will join the other grant partners to share the impact [if any] of the funds on program quality as well as any challenges. Panel questions will be provided ahead of time for participants to prepare. The exact date/time will be set in collaboration with grant partners, but will likely be in Fall 2027.

Grantees also agree to complete a brief feedback survey and agree to allow LATT Network/ARF to share high level details of the grant and perceived impact with funders and the public.

As an option, grant partners may also receive technical assistance from Learn All the Time Network staff (e.g., consultation call, connections to resources, review of materials, etc.).  We also hope, if selected, you'll consider serving on the Mini-Grant Selection Committee the following year.

Application Deadline: Friday, October 23, 2026 at 11:59pm CST

Application Submission Instructions: The application starts on page two of this online tool. Please review and complete all questions and select "Submit" when complete. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed.

We strongly recommend you complete the application in another document and copy and paste your responses here when complete. Occasionally this survey tool will time out and we don't want your application to be deleted accidentally.

Make note of the character limit for each question response.
Shorter is often better! Grants are reviewed by busy OST Network members like you, so quickly tell us what your project is all about.

Application Review: Applications will undergo a peer review process. Applications will be scored based on four key areas (with area one receiving the highest weight):
(1) the project’s demonstrated focus on one or more of the Learn All The Time Quality Practices, with a focus on quality program practices (defined as practices that occur during the program session with youth and staff) and/or quality management practices (defined as practices that happen behind the scenes when programs are planned and evaluated and staff are hired and supported).
(2) the project’s commitment to centering equity;
(3) the project's readiness for implementation and ability to complete the work during the grant award period
(4) the staff/program ability to sustain the work after the grant period

Award Notification: Award notifications will be made no later than the week of November 30, 2026.

Please note that an application to the Andy Roddick Foundation has no guarantee of funding or offering the amount requested when you apply.
